Word mark filed with the Korean Intellectual Property Office in Class 3, cosmetics, and filed in-house without outside trademark counsel
Complete Elixir Skincare Inc. has filed the word mark COMPLETE ELIXIR with the Korean Intellectual Property Office. The application was submitted on September 17, 2026, Korea time, under application number 40-2026-0196763, in Class 3, which covers cosmetics. The filing designates 15 goods.
The filing was prepared and submitted directly through KIPO's online filing system rather than through a trademark firm. That is the same pattern the company has followed in every market it has entered: Canadian cosmetic notification, U.S. MoCRA registration and Korean import registration were all handled in-house by a company of five people.
The application follows the company's Korean importer registration, which cleared in April 2026 after a four month process, and the establishment of a Korean entity, Complete Elixir Korea, to hold that registration and handle domestic supply.
We cleared import registration before we protected the name, which is the wrong order if you can help it. A brand that sells into a market and does not hold the mark there is relying on nobody else getting there first. We would rather own that ourselves, the same way we own the formulation and the manufacturing.
