Creator's Lab helps Korean beauty brands work with creators in Canada. Casting, the hands-on experience event, filming guidance and video delivery are managed in one place. For brands ready to sell in Canada, sales readiness and buyer development are available as separate services.
Creator's Lab began as a room where creators could try products, ask the people who made them, and film what they learned.
We are now building that room into creator programs for Korean beauty brands entering Canada: hosted events where about ten creators experience a brand's products in person, and seeding programs that reach a wider group of creators. Whatever is expected in return is agreed in a contract first: how many videos, in what format, by when, and where they may be used.
A Creator's Lab program brings together:
Footage from a recent session in Surrey, BC. Every guest had a station, a mirror and a full set of products, with the formulator at the front of the room answering questions.

Finding creators in Canada, working in English, preparing an event, checking every post and securing usage rights are each a project. We bring them into one.
A creator program is built for brands with their own products and ingredient documentation, a budget for paid content, and an interest in Canadian customers.
Where we start. Makeup and makeup tools: lip, blush and eyeshadow, brushes, puffs and sponges. Hair accessories, pouches and bags, nail products, and body and hair care come later. Sunscreen, food, health products and electric beauty devices are not part of the program.
The core of Creator's Lab is paid work. A brand can bring about ten creators into one room for a hosted event, or seed products to a wider group of creators across Canada. Either way, any content that is expected is contracted in advance. What a brand buys is not a seat at an event or a mailing list. It is agreed videos, the rights to use them, local operations and a report.
Every deliverable is written down before work starts: videos per creator, length, aspect ratio, language and subtitles, required shots and delivery date, and whether each video is posted on the creator's account, delivered to you, or both.
Programs are where creators are paid for their work. The fee, the deliverables and how your face, voice and video may be used are agreed in writing before you say yes. Attending an event or receiving gifted products never comes with a duty to post.
Complete Elixir manages the venue or the shipments, the creators and the quality of every delivered video. Events stay small and products are introduced properly before anyone films.
Posting is required only in paid programs and paid seeding, where each creator is paid and the posts are agreed in writing.
Each event is built around one brand, sometimes two, and about ten creators.
Instead of simply receiving products, creators learn the story behind them, try them properly and film with a plan. Keeping each event to one or two brands means every product gets real attention.
A typical event day:
Made for makeup. Individual samples and disposable applicators, so nothing is shared at the lips or eyes.
No posting obligation. Creators who attend without a content contract are never expected to publish. Posting is only part of paid programs and paid seeding, agreed in advance.
Cities and dates are confirmed with participating brands and announced to the creator network first.
A group of invited creators is a first read, not a consumer study, and we report it that way: first impressions and how a product feels in use, kept apart from any claim about long-term results.
Your main products, preferred timing, target customer, what the content is for, budget range, whether you need posts and ad rights, and whether you plan to sell in Canada.
We review the products, the documents you can provide and the scope you want, then send a written quote.
Creators are selected for audience fit and contracted. Deliverables, posting, usage rights and dates are agreed in writing before the event.
Creators experience your products in person at a hosted event, or receive them at home through seeding, then film what was agreed.
Videos are delivered against the contract, and you receive post links, results at the agreed point, creator feedback and ideas for what to make next.
Most influencer databases sort by follower count, engagement rate and demographics. Those numbers matter. Creator's Lab adds the layer they miss: creators you can meet in a room, and terms you can read in a contract.
We look at each creator's audience in Canada, fit with your customer, typical recent performance and delivery record before follower counts.
We never add follower counts together and call it reach. Audiences overlap, and past performance is not a promise of future views.
English communication, the event, filming, delivery and usage rights are handled in one place, and the result is written into a contract.
Sorted by follower count
Chosen for their audience in Canada and fit with your customer
Follower counts added up and called reach
Overlap acknowledged, results reported honestly
Messages and spreadsheets, creator by creator
One contract and one point of contact
Hosted events and seeding can run on their own or together. Brands that want to sell in Canada afterwards can add sales readiness or buyer development, each under its own agreement.
About ten creators in one room, a hosted event, contracted videos, usage rights agreed separately, and a results report.
Products sent to a wider group of selected creators in Canada, with shipping and follow-up managed in one place.
Gifted seeding carries no posting obligation. When posts are required, it becomes paid seeding: each creator is paid, and the posts, deadlines and usage rights are agreed in writing.
Product classification, ingredient and label review, CNF submission support, translation and label coordination, and introductions to import and logistics partners.
A Cosmetic Notification Form tells Health Canada a product is being sold. It is not an approval, a certification or a guarantee of retail listing. Work we do ourselves and work done by specialist partners are quoted separately.
Target buyer research, English brand materials and wholesale terms, outreach, sample offers, and support with meetings and negotiation.
We report what was done and what buyers said. Contracts, listings and sales volumes are never guaranteed.
Creator's Lab is for creators in Canada who want paid work with beauty brands, not just free products.
Members of the creator network may be invited to:
Trying comes with no obligation. Attending an event or receiving gifted products never requires you to post. Posting is only part of paid programs and paid seeding, agreed in writing before you say yes.
Your opinion stays yours. Revisions cover technical quality, product facts and the contract. We never ask you to turn an honest opinion into a positive review.
Invitations depend on the fit for each program, so joining is a starting point rather than a promise of work.
Great content matters more than follower count.
We look at who actually watches you, and how well you show a product, before we look at how many people follow you.
Great content and the right audience matter more than follower count.
Each program brings new creators and new brands to the next event.
Tell us about your products and what you want the content to do. We reply with how a program could work for you and a written quote.
Where we are. We are preparing our first brand programs now. Cities, dates and the creator line-up are confirmed with participating brands, never promised in advance.
How it is paid. Programs are paid, and payment terms are set out in each written quote. There is no cost to enquire.
We are building a network of creators in Canada for paid content programs with beauty brands.
Whether you are an established creator, a micro-creator or just building a portfolio, we would like to hear from you.
What happens next. We read every application. When a program fits your content and your audience, we get in touch by email with the brand, the fee and the deliverables.
Joining is free and does not commit you to anything. It is not a guarantee of paid work.
Creator's Lab is an initiative by Complete Elixir, a skincare company based in Surrey, British Columbia. It brings Korean brands, creators in Canada and real-world experiences together.
A note on our own products. Complete Elixir also makes skincare. When our own products are part of a session, we say so, and each brand's costs and deliverables are kept separate.
