Two shows in four months took the Surrey-made professional line to estheticians in both Western and Central Canada

ESI is a professional trade event for the esthetics and spa industry, where skincare suppliers present to practising estheticians, clinic owners and spa operators rather than to consumers. For Complete Elixir, which sells through professional channels rather than retail, the two shows were the company's introduction to the Canadian professional market at national scale.

Exhibiting at both ends of the country within one season was a deliberate decision for a company that then had two employees. A professional skincare line is adopted one practitioner at a time, and a treatment room will not take on a product the operator cannot question the formulator about directly.

The company showed the line it formulates and manufactures at its own facility on Croydon Drive in Surrey, where batches are capped at 100 litres and run across multiple production cycles. Its category focus is complicated skin - acne-prone, sensitive and barrier-compromised - and it pairs product supply with professional education for estheticians rather than retail-first marketing.

The Canadian shows preceded the company's move into the United States. Complete Elixir began supplying a Los Angeles-area distributor in October 2025 and formalized that relationship in September 2026.

Trade shows are where you find out whether your product answers a real question. Estheticians do not ask what is trending - they bring you a client who has reacted to everything and ask what you would do. Those conversations changed what we prioritized.
