A dry powder that only becomes a cleanser when you add water. That is the point: an acid sitting in water slowly loses strength, and a powder does not, so what reaches your face is what was made. This is the gentler of the two strengths, for sensitive skin or for anyone new to exfoliating acids. Salicylic acid and gluconolactone lift surface buildup, kaolin and seaweed take up excess oil, and colloidal oatmeal keeps it comfortable.

How to use

  1. Tip a small amount of powder into clean hands, add a few drops of water and work it into a light foam.
  2. Massage over damp skin in gentle circles for 20 to 30 seconds, keeping clear of the eyes.
  3. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry. One to three times a week, as your skin tolerates.

Tip: cut back the frequency if skin feels dry or reactive, and keep the lid closed so the powder stays dry.
